A food-ordering app designed by applying cognitive psychology to every interface decision — attention, perception, emotion, memory, motivation and trust — to make choosing food feel effortless, appetizing and confident.

Good interface design should align with how people think, feel, remember and choose.
Instead of designing only for visual appearance, every major interface element in CognEats was connected to a psychological principle — reducing cognitive effort, guiding attention, building trust, and encouraging users to complete and repeat an order.

The CognEats logo shows only a chef's hat and moustache — deliberately leaving out the rest of the face.
This applies the Gestalt principle of closure: the user mentally completes the missing facial features, making the symbol simple, recognizable, memorable, food-related and psychologically engaging.
